During the 4th week, I’ve continued to document my knowledge through a lengthy post about writing remarkable content. The original draft to this post sat around 3,700 words. But I then implemented some of the content editing techniques that I talk about in the article to reduce the word count to around 2,000 so that the information is more potent.

At the beginning of the week, I finished writing my Ultimate Guide to Guest Blogging for SEO post meanwhile compiling all the posts into a repurposed ebook which is now on amazon.

I put together the ebook in keynote using an ebook template from Hubspot, but when submitting to amazon I realized that keynote may have not been the best approach as you can only export to PDF and not any of the other file types. I’m now in the process of reformatting my ebook into an epub format so that it is compatible and looks nicer on any device.

From completely written to ready to publish took a lot more work than I expected. This involves formatting the author bio, adding links where people can contact me, reformatting every page so that there’s a coherent design throughout the book, creating a cover design, and going through the kindle publication process on amazon.

What I learned this week is indispensable to my future online endeavors and I plan on creating many more ebooks and repurposed pieces of content on whatever interests I may be writing about at the time. I’m now committed to further learning about content marketing and continuing to progress in my knowledge and implementation of it.
