In the third week of the portfolio project in Praxis I focused the entirety of my efforts on content creation. After having done loads of research in weeks 1 and 2, I felt it was time to actually create something that is linkable and that can be published online. In the process of the last week, I wrote over 4,000 words of writing about content marketing with dozens of pictures, links, and references to keep my audience interested in and engaged with the content. The blog posts I wrote include:

By writing these posts I’m implementing the practices that I learned while researching content marketing by also reformatting and repurposing these posts into a downloadable ebook that I plan on posting to amazon before the end of the month.

The process is taking longer than I originally thought and my promotion and sale of the ebook my start bleeding into the month of February. This isn’t a big deal as everything takes longer than we originally expected it to and I still plan on accomplishing the same objective just within the time framework of 5–6 weeks instead of 3–4.

In regards to the rest of the month, I plan on continuing to publish a few more blog posts until I think the e-book is ready (around 50 pages) and then posting it on amazon. The remainder of the topics that I will be writing about is still unknown as I have a plethora of different topics that are all competing for my attention. I can write about repurposing, video content, the different tools that can be utilized in the field of content marketing, or any of the other dozen ideas that I wrote down at the beginning of the month when figuring out documentation ideas for the end of the month.
